Rachel Nuttall

Rachel grew up in Somerset and studied her undergraduate degree at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2017. In her final year project, supervised by Professor Chris Willis, she worked on synthesising analogues of the antiproliferative natural product blepharocalyxin D. Rachel returned to Bristol in 2018 to start her PhD as part of the Bristol Chemical Synthesis CDT and is now working under the supervision of Professor Paul Pringle, Professor Carmen Galan and Dr Michelle Ma (King’s College London). Rachel’s project focuses on synthesising novel diphosphine ligands for use in nuclear medicine. Outside the lab Rachel enjoys cooking, reading and playing netball.
